I am taking on the Mega Challange before continuing the last section of Complete Blender Creator: Learn 3D Modelling for Beginners.

"A Mega Challange…

  • Choose an animal
  • Block out, sculpt and add hair to the animal
  • For bonus points, place animal in some sort of environment / scene"

I have chosen to create a flying squirrel.

Today I finished blocking out my squirrel with metaballs. Tomorrow the sculpting begins!
