It took me quite a time to understand the node editor. It almost made me quit this project, but i gave it a second chance today and i finally was able to understand what i was doing.
Here is what i came with… My beautiful yellow lamp

Still have to do a lot in this project but i am so proud i understand this !! i wanted to show you all what i did!
Well done, it does look awesome! The yellow paint looks like baked enamel & the silver looks like machined polished aluminum.
