An Original Text Adventure of Eternal Imprisonment

As the topic showcases, this is a story about trying to escape from what appears to be a never-ending confinement in an unknown place. It may not be particularly long, but depending on certain actions, things will go slightly differently, and there is a small degree of thinking and figuring out how to progress.

For those that would like a little more info or would rather not go into it blind, here is some extra info for you in spoiler blur: The game is played in a series of loops. Your actions can change the outcomes of the loops, for a total of 4 “endings” where only one is the actual end. The first two endings are pretty regular, and once you figure out the specific trigger hinted at in the second ending, the text for the rest of the story plays out rather different, and was quite fun to write. And only by putting together all the clues and tricks you learn, can you get to the true ending, which is not spelled out for you like every other action you can take in the game.

Here is the game link: https://mistriven719.itch.io/escape-a-text-adventure I made it about a half year ago, but after taking a break, I recently found out about itch.io and have been upgrading to Unity 5, bugtesting the webGL builds, and working on uploading the games I had finished. So I will soon have topics on the next two lesson games (BrickBreaker and LaserDefender) as soon as I finish making sure they work properly (and after getting back in the swing of things, refreshing my apprentice coding chops).

I hope you all enjoy this text-based adventure as much as I enjoyed writing it!

I really like you spoiler style with these posts. It gives a great reason to click. I would consider adding a screenshot too.

Thanks for the tips! I shall be sure to remember screenshots for the future. I figured the spoilers were a good way to have the info available but not thrown in your face and spoil the possible experience.
