An armed lamp

Alright, moving along nicely … In my model, I apparently already designed the joint at the top of my stem, so that was nice … For the arms, I’m following my reference (with provisions for the next joint already there), resulting in:

This is a closeup of the joint: as in a previous lecture: just duplicate some parts, separate and start from there … Instead of scaling, I made a small “gap” by beveling.

My mirror is around the lamp base itself … Assuming that this will also be valid all the time (i.e., the origin will stay where it is), I’ll leave it as such for now. Replacing the mirror by an empty can be done later as well, I suppose, so I’ll avoid the hierarchy clutter for now
