Ambient occlusion issue

I am having trouble getting the ambient occlusion to show up in the scene or the game view. I have been through the content several times making sure I followed the information in the tutorial but something seems to be missing. SSAO is checked but nothing is showing up in the scene.

Are you sure you’re modifying the renderer that you’re using? Is there no change when enabling/disabling? Can you try adding other Renderer features? Do they do anything?
Do you see it in scene view and not in game view? Or don’t see it in either?
I don’t think there’s any extra step, as long as you’re using the renderer and enable SSAO it should work.
Check the Project settings > Quality, maybe you’re defaulting to some lower quality level although I don’t think that should disable SSAO
