The first version I had in mind seemed a bit thin, and when I thought forward it felt like the lamp might topple over since that’s the center of gravity while it’s moving. So I made a point of changing the size of the base to fit over the placeholder, since I thought the amount of mass implied was satisfying for stability.
I’m happy with how it came out!
