I took a break from this course to study unreal using AGRPro and more about the animation blueprint. After completing some of that course on Youtube I was able to figure out how to adjust the fingers by adjusting the animations through adding additive keyframes.
It’s a shame this course doesn’t touch on how to make the hands look better, because it looks absolutely horrid without this tweak in my opinion. And seeing as I am making my own content for this game (my own level using a completely different asset set, custom drone, openable doors, etc) it is was important for me to make it look as good as I can.
If you are interested in the tutorial, it is from AngelV and it uses his free plugin called AGRpro which assists with some things that are standard amongs many games.
You can do the videos up to the kubold movement section, as that section requires paid assets. (Unless you got them free back in 2020 from Epic, in which case lucky you)
If you are new to unreal, and haven’t at the minimum completed the basic blueprint course here on GDTV, I do not recommend this tutorial as he moves very fast and it requires you to already know about unreal, as well as the differences between Unreal Engine 4 and 5 as the course is done in Unreal Engine 4.
Here is the link to the course on Youtube.
Now to move on and shoot this gun that is properly attached.
