After PC Build, Sliders, Buttons & Mouse Clicks Off Center

I’ve been trying to solve this problem for over a week on my own now with no luck. I’ve completed my Halloween version of Glitch Garden with no issues in play mode. Once I build it to PC, the game still works except all my sliders (volume & difficulty), buttons and mouse clicks to place defenders is off center. Everything seems skewed to the left. So for example, when I click on the volume handle nothing happens unless I click on the left end of the volume bar and beyond. Or as I move my mouse pointer further right to place a defender, the defender appears further to the right. I can fudge the buttons by making the box collider much wider but would rather fix it the right way if there is one.

Things I’ve tried with no success:

  • building in game ratios 800x600, 4:3, 16:9 and 1024X768
  • checking and unchecking the various boxes in “Resolution” and “Standalone Player Options” then building and testing.
  • trying different anchoring options with the sliders and Z positions
  • downloading and building the “User Testing Tweaks-End State” for PC

Is it impossible to simply build this as is for a PC to run? Or do I need to adjust other sizes (like the game canvas) to build this properly on the PC?

I just need to be pointed in the right direction to solve this issue. Please somebody help me understand what is going on so I can better understand…Thanks!

Looks like I was over thinking this issue. I simply built it as 16:9 then chose the screen resolution to be 1920 x 1080 before playing it on the PC and it worked perfectly!!! Hopefully my struggles will help save lots of time for others in the future. I’ll share my creation soon on itch.io for all to enjoy!

Here is my finished version of the game:

The game is fun. Great job! How did you implement the pause button?
