Adding Bones to Armatures

For the follow along the lamp parts went all over the place when I parented them with the bones. Down in the bottom left of the screen there is a little box that allowed me to keep the transforms. Alternatively I just unhooked the parenting and applied the object location and scale with CTRL+A then hooking it back up with the corresponding bone.

For the Layout I set up I’m not quite sure how it’s going to work since I will need to animate the singular pole like a rubber house animation style, but for now i gave it two bones and hooked up only 1 since I might need to cut the stem down in order to animate it the way I want.

Congrats starting this chapter! This chapter is mainly about animation, I’ve been looking forward to this once since staring this course! I look forward to what you will make!
