So to set the scene as it were, this is about halfway through a 3-man chess game. I’ll ignore what’s going on with Black, as they’ve all managed to be out of shot. White has lost a couple of pawns, both knights, a castle, bishop - and their queen. So this is sort-of from the white queen’s point of view, looking across the board (captured pieces being stored opposite their player) at the white king (the focus target).
Considering this wasn’t directly set up for a shot like this, I’m quite pleased with the composition: white queen front left, red queen mid right, and the white king on the far side (not quite centered - that would’ve required more tweaking than I felt like).
