About UE5

Do you recommend UE5 instead of UE4 for coding or for learning at this time?

thanks advance

It’s up to you but I’d stick with UE4 for the moment unless you’re reasonably familiar with UE4’s interface and don’t mind figuring out how to navigate the UE5 interface which is a good bit different. While the course should be fine, the user interface is quite different and we’ve not fully tested everything and there will be differences.

UE5 with new projects are generally slower unless you have a high-end video card as it is intended for next-gen hardware - you have to change the lighting to disable lumen to get reasonable performance.
