About the missing BlueprintProjectile

I was wondering about the ensure errors in this lessons.

My observations:

  • if you change anything on the AimingComponent cpp file and recompile, the projectile is “missing”
  • it is still listed in the blueprint properties!
  • everything works again, if you recompile the blueprint
  • enemy tanks in the scene won’t work anymore but do have to be replaced / newly spawned to work again

Thanks, we’ll keep an eye on it as we go through. We have the appropriate protection in place, and as long as we do something proactive each time we see an error I’m confident we’ll get to the bottom of it.

Did we ever figure out what was going on here? I have a stable build of my game and I don’t want to package a new build with the refactoring until I’m sure this architecture is the right course of action. Thanks!
