About 'Reflective Materials'!

In this video (objectives)…

  1. Controlling the basic material properties
  2. Make a surface reflective
  3. Screen Space Reflections (Eevee)

After watching (learning outcomes)…

Understand that Roughness controls how reflective a surface is. With Eevee you need to turn on those reflections.

The difference between cycle eevee and cycles with denoise is quite a bit. I didn’t expect it to be so dramatic.

Changed my mid section challenge pyramid to an obsidian like reflective material. Shortened up my animation a little as well. CC and feedback are welcome!!

Ended Up doing the desk configuration too. I Went back And there was a lot more expected out out of mid section challenge than a speaker bar. So did the desk with the castle theme.
I guess watch more than the challenge intro. The sad part , it took alot longer than a hour, but learned alot so may be speed will pick up.
Oh great another guy doing a desk, just getting the swing of this multi duplicate castle thiing.
Did find alt D doeesnt allways work, but the check mark shows when it does.

I tried to get some displacement in the water but failed not sure why?

Rendering with the two engines.

Used my model for the reflective challenge but I used the Glossy BSDF Material to get a better reflection on the wall

not much of a change but I did add some reflectivity to the temple edifice.
