A quick way to vary up the sound

Right Click on Assault_Rifle_Shot and Create Cue
Alt-Click between the Wave Player and put to disconnect them
Add a Modulator node in between them, then connect.
With the modulator node selected you can change the pitch and volume and it randomly change the sound.

I picked up this technique in the C++ course!

Thanks for this idea. I didn’t want to isolate the single shot like he did in the last video so I called the sound file a few times with a delay between. This added just the variety that I needed. Then took it a step further, pulled a sound from freesounds, edited it to sound like the three shells hitting the ground and hooked it up just like this on a delay. It works great!
