Hello! I’m going to keep this short and sweet. In 04:45 of “You First .gitignore for Unreal,” to show hidden files in Finder, just type Command ⌘ + Shift ⇧ + Period .
This will quickly, but temporarily enable the showing of hidden files in Finder.
