A problem with Texture Painting that I've been trying to fix for a long time

Okay, so I’m actually in the Dragon Sculpting course (a great course, speaking of that), and in the Texture Painting part I got a little stuck.
When I paint the texture, other faces are also painted, at first I thought it was because the UVs overlapped, but I checked in the UV editor and there is nothing overlapping, (even when I do Select Overlap),

Those UVs look rather close together especially the small ones. You could try an unwrap with more margin.

8:34 onwards is a bit about a fix to the sort of issue you are having I think.

A work around may be to select an area and take it to local view and then paint it.

Other than tat correct it, repaint the erroneous parts by painting in the 2D view.
