A low poly pawn

I decided to organize my project like this:

  • Separate files for each of the base, the board and chess piece in a folder called Models
  • A separate folder containing the final scene file combining everything, and the material textures.
  • All reference images in a separate folder

And here’s the pawn as promised:

PS: I love low poly. I actually prefer the cartoonish look over a high poly, extremely realistic render. At least for games. Maybe if I am creating an actual realistic scene then possibly high poly would be better.

Sounds well organised!

Some like the low poly, it is a compromise that has to be lived with for games and some areas of 3d use.

Good pawn.
