- I edit the base file then ‘save as’ a new file for every new piece. So I’ll have individual files for every piece which can be imported in my main file or re-used for different designs. The pieces will be easier to edit afterwards in case I want to.
- I would store materials in the main file. In case materials need to be edited I think it will be easier to do so if they are all in the main file.
