A Boney Problem Solved Easily

If you parent your character to the armature with empty groups and accidentally assign two or more bones to a vertex group, it will shrink or grow if you move it. To fix this, you can delete all vertex groups by:

  1. Click on Object Data Properties (upside down green triangle)
  2. Click on Vertex Groups
  3. Click on the black box below the minus or subtract symbol
  4. Click on Delete All Groups.
    After this:
  5. Click on Object (next to the mode switcher)
  6. Go to Convert and click on Mesh.
  7. Parent your character or object to your bones again
  8. Carefully assign the bones
    For Voxel characters, just use these steps on one part of your character that’s shrinking or growing.
