I had a completely different experience from the steps in the lecture. where my example the pyramid was 7 steps instead of 8 like in the lecture. Also the angle of the ramp was off. I tried to push on and fill the gaps anyway but it was beginning to look messy.
In the end I turned to the discussion and took inspiration from another user who ends the ramp 1 meter in front of the temple. Unfortunately the fill command did not create the underlying edges even though the angle was correct. Still this was easier to correct and clean up.
