3060 12GB or 3060 Ti 8GB?

I’m confused between buying 3060 Ti or 3060
Which is important? Size of VRAM, speed of memory, or something else?
the software I will use are:
1-UE5
2-Blender
3-3ds Max
4-AutoCAD
5-Revit
6-V.Ray render
7-Adobe apps

3060 12GB
AORUS GeForce RTX™ 3060 ELITE 12G (rev. 1.0) Gallery | Graphics Card - GIGABYTE Global

3060 Ti 8GB
ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge OC LHR | ZOTAC

What will be the main use and how much of a price difference is there?

What will be the main use

1-UE5 ( important )
2-Blender
3-3ds Max
These are the apps I will always use.

I’ll use 3dsMax for architecture modeling.
Blender for Making assets of a game.
UE5 for making a realistic game.

I’m a 3D designer and game dev.

if you recommend go to 3070 TI, I’ll take it.

They are one model.3060 ti 8 gb for gaming and its has less memory than 3060 12 gb.For modelling will fit 3060 12gb.More memory more good for modelling

Thanks for your reply

for UE5?
Is More VRam (like 3060 12gb )important than having stronger gpu like 3070 or 3080?

At least to me, its a trade off no matter what, so just go with the one you want unless you get both performance and memory in one gpu and beat the trade off. Too nitpicky for me

No 3080 and 3070 are already more recent than 3060 and these video cards are stronger than 3060. And 3060 ti and 3060 12gb are the same model, but 3060 12gb memory is much more than 3060 ti and 3060 ti is suitable for gamers. So you need 3060 12gb for modelling

You right

The 3060 was released about 3 months after the 3080 and 3070. NVidia always release the lower specs later.

All cards will run UE5 fine - that’s not the issue. It’s the resolution at which you want to run it is what you need to know. The 3060 will run 4K but not necessarily at 60fps so may be laggy. It is designed for 1080p displays. Even a 1060 ti (which I have) will run UE5 projects at 4k but you’ll be pushed to get 30fps and more likely less. For development, it works.

The 3070 was designed for 1440p displays and the 3080 for 4K.
