When I start the game it immediately skips the entry and goes right into the Swing_Down animation. From there it all works the way it should but never starts in the idle animation.
Let’s take a look at your Animator’s graph, with the variables section on the left while still in Edit mode (not in Play Mode).
I had a suspicion that this might be the issue, but I never want to just assume and then steer down a completely wrong path.
Take a look at your parameters. See the little white circle in the Trigger? That indicates that the event should fire as soon as the game starts.
Click on this while not in play mode and it should dissappear, putting things back to normal.
