2D Course Result! My Landing Game With some twists

Alright so I played the game for about 10 minutes, completed aome levels, tried different rockets, and watched some ads, here is my honest review:

Graphics :star::star::star::star::star:
Really good graphics, I love the rocks and cliffs in the scenes, the moving obstacles are great, the background with the stars is amazing, really nicely done with the graphics

Controls :star::star::star::star:
Good controls, I like how smooth they are, however I find my rocket gliding in the air a little to much making it harder to land on the platform. Very smooth joystick controls though, for me it’s just the rocket glides too much.

UI :star::star:
My only tough rating, when a user first opens the game, they see the buttons, the home screen, here though, instead of putting a bunch of buttons on the home screen, maybe make some more categories, or make the buttons way smaller and then the button that allows you to play is the biggest one, this can direct the users attention to a certain place, all and all, the home screen just seems slightly cluttered, also when you try to adjust a slider setting, the slider will always default to its original setting despite me seeing the visible changes, small bug. Good start but I suggest making the home screen a bit more user friendly

Level Design :star::star::star::star:
Pretty fun and intriguing levels, however It would be nice to see more changes in color, instead of seeing multiple levels with the same color, I love the idea of the sliding obstacles like used in project boost, really good design, just if you wanted the levels to be more interesting, a change in colors could help. Really good job here.

Ad System :star::star::star::star::star:
Some games give too many ads, I think the concept of your ad System is a good one, 3 lives and then an ad, also the mini ad on the bottom is easy to ignore(user is satisfied, you profit), so good on you.

Bugs:
Like I said before, the UI slider is a small bug

If you make the platform and then the rocket falls over, the game says you died, and a second later says you completed the level, maybe disable collision after you finish, and then re enable it when the next level loads

Also, if you exit the app, it doesn’t save, that’s a big thing, id try to fix this

Pretty solid game, already 5K downloads, great work, id give it 4 stars realistically, great job building another mobile game.

Thanks you so much for your detaild review!!! this is the first time that I take a review like this from someone and really appreciate your opinion and comments :grin: :grin:

I am working with the levels design adding new feature and other rockets to give a better player experience (like rockets that you unlock when you finish all the levels or some stars to take during specific levels)

I made others game but this is the only one with a good level of download so far…

Sounds great, the more you create, the better you’ll become, the only major thing id try to fix is implementing a saving system, people aren’t going to want to start from the beginning every time they open the app, however the graphics in the game are really good like I said before, just a few fixes and you’ve got yourself a stable working game, I can’t wait to see if you post anything else!

Thanks, if you see in the menu there is a button with the name “select your mission”, in here I added the saving progress so you can select the level to play according with your progress.

But, I take note of your comment, because probably is better to use the same play button to continue with the level that someone ends and give a better continuity experience.

I see, then it’s my bad then, might be better if it saves on default though, because others might get confused like me. Sorry bout that.
