2D bowling physics in Godot

Hey, I was wondering if anyone has managed to get their bowling game physics set up properly in Godot? it seems like not matter what I do I keep hitting a wall. I have it in a somewhat reasonable place but it either throws and knocks down 6 pins consistently at a time on either side of the pins, i don’t think it’s possible to throw strikes either with how its set up. I’m guessing it has something to do with the pin physics themselves?

Not sure but would love to know if anyone ran to any trouble with this stuff before and how they sorted it out.

Thanks!

This makes it sound like you’re working from a project or course of ours, but our Godot courses don’t have anything resembling a bowling game as far as I know. What course are you working on?

Hey Corey, my bad I was under the assumption I could ask general questions here. Apologies.

No problem at all - it’s not exactly forbidden, but this forum is intended more for directly supporting the courses. I suggest trying our Discord server, as there are a lot of people there who will most likely be able to help you further. The link to the server can be found in the Community menu on the main site.

Good luck with the project =)
