This is the Blender Collaboration 2026, week 3 challenge. Don’t be afraid to join, a lot of us are beginners. This is all to practice, have fun, learn, and get together.
This week’s subject is “A Triptych about a Productive Disaster”.
" A Triptych about a Productive Disaster" - A Productive Disaster — Three Connected Renders Telling One Story (Blender 3D Triptych Challenge). — “From Chaos to Creation: A Productive Disaster Told in Three Visual Panels”
The rules are simple. 1 subject, 1 entry, 1 week.
You create whatever object or scene or whatever you can think of that has something to do with the subject. It can be as simple or complicated as you want, all entries are welcome!
Post your picture here in this thread. At the end of the week, we start to vote. And if you are the winner, you may choose the next subject and win a unique badge.
I couldn’t finish the other parts unfortunately.. my fluid simulations totally failed and I don’t have the time to sculpt the paint anymore… maybe next time
We @BlenderCollab have a few days to vote. You can vote fast but also think slowly about design, colors, technique, difficulty, subject, realism, etc. Choose consciously and not on your entry.
The new subject week 04 “Like a mirage - so near and yet so far” has already started. The winner of this week’s “A Triptych about a Productive Disaster” challenge may select a subject for next week 05 and win a badge.
@RayMobula , congratulations on your creative fusion of the worlds of nature and technology. It’s magical and a real eureka moment (if it work’s like this ).
Crisus - A lot of work, but definitely a fun story to follow. It’s good that the emphasis is always on the colored panel. A well-chosen design. The short animations enhance the visual appeal. Could be a tiny video …
gallmerci - I see the potential. But it also requires a lot of modeling (color mixing). While a week may seem like a long time, working on a collab challenge always requires careful planning of the necessary resources.
Note:** I don’t want to offend anyone. I try to write down positive ideas and visions in my simple use of the English language. I am also sometimes more inspired by a particular subject or solution. I’m also learning from you!
