Why there are 2 different icons behind the object names?
What is the difference?
Is this something thats not been applied? (like a modifier)

In my original file,those icon doesn’t appear, but it appears in the linked file.
What those icon means and what I am supposed to do?

My initial instinct is telling me that they are linked duplicates and the symbol indicates sharing the data with other pieces in the scene.
I am guessing as the ones that are proxies but do not have the same symbol only have one in the scene.
I am awaiting Michael on confirmation on this but i believe this is what the symbol means after i took some time to think on it a little more and it seems to tie up with what we are seeing.
(Note all the floor pieces are different sizes)
