Although still annoyed at myself for my inabilty to snap a disembodied stair to my Mayan ramp, I’m emerging from my snapping fog.
It was hard for me to finally understand I had to put the cursor near the intended snap target instead of the thing I wanted to snap, but am now able to fiddle things around until they snap basically where I want.
For those like me who need extra guidance, I suggest emphasizing this (to me) counterintuitive aspect of “snappitude” in future lecture updates. The lecture as it was recorded did, in fact, mention this, but I needed to be beaten over the head with it.
