Started the course: november 2017

Initially, I was triggered by current development in AI (deep learning, neural networks and humans losing to AI in games like GO and DOTA2) and it got me excited to explore the current IT and development landscape again. Incidentally, I had recently stockpiled $10 Udemy courses (as you do), so gave this one a try.

I didn’t expect much. In the days when creating simple games was a hobby for me, I just had to write code, compile it and run. Very straightforward, creating and sharing single file programs. My later attempts to get back into it, with Java, Ruby, PHP and MySQL, I usually got lost in the complexities of running an entire development ‘suite’. Unity, for me, is the big leap forward, the answer to all problems I encountered in the past.
Here I have a platform available that helps me re-create the games that I grew up with. Love it!
