I’m digging it! IT has kind of a World of Warcraft vibe to it. :grinning:

No effing way.

This is amazing :open_mouth: Really impressed, having played with handpainting a bit myself.

Are you using Blender painting tool to do it or Photoshop/Paint.net?

Thank you!

The hand painting was done with Photoshop CS6

I didn’t like how the bricks at the bottom were too uniform, so I played around with the arrangement a bit, along with adding a wood beam border above it to break it up a bit… I also tinted the bricks

This is fantastic. I love hand painted textures, makes it truly unique and wholly your own. Nicely done.

Decided that the brick pillars were too much but I still wanted a bit of concrete in there so I replaced part of the pillars with some stylized wood, and uv textured the concrete, still need to add more detail to the concrete though.

@BrokenTotems The model is great! However, your Sketchfab post could use a little work ;D Here are some tips I’ve picked up using the (really great!) service!

1: Try not to use their generic backgrounds. They rarely gel well with most art styles. It’s better to use the still grey backgrounds or a flat colour that compliments your model (that also changes the lighting!)

2: Try to set up a pedestal of some kind; not only does it give the model a little more weight, but it stops them from seeing any clipping issues that might be occurring at the bottom. Either knock up a really simple backdrop or just make a little pedestal. It helps the brain to prevent disorientation by having a base to the model.

3: Their inbuilt 3D settings are great. You can use it to change the lighting, aspects of the materials, the camera Field of View, and all sorts of things! You should always play around to see if you can make your model stick out!

I’m still learning, but this is what I picked up so far. Your style is amazing, you’ll be racking up enough likes to hit front page for sure!!
