Where did you find out about us?

I’d be curious to know how you stumbled across this dark yet wonderful corner of the web?

This particular forum, or your courses in general?

The forum, I found out about in the facebook groups.

Your courses, were recommended to me by Udemy as I was already taking an iOS app development course on Udemy.

I hope you’re glad you bought it?

Indeed! His courses are great, though I am sad to say I’ve been neglecting them to focus on your Unity course.

I won’t tell him

I came across your course specifically when looking through Udemy - one of the first courses I took was an iOS development course that I took in conjunction with a college class in mobile development, but from there, I discovered courses on game development, including Ben’s Unity development course.

I stumbled on you at Udemy, and the addiction began. Then your voting on gamedev.tv was a great idea.

Now this.

You guys are like the crack of game development.

Rich

I was keeping an eye on the gamedev related kickstarter projects, and was already taking a couple of free Udemy courses to pass time wen away at work, so I bought the Unity course start of last year, as a couple of years chipping into the Unity forums I decided I wanted a bit of structure to learning going forward, so got the credit card out  got the Blender course early this year, seemed to make sense for me as the two went hand in hand.

From that beginnings, the facebook groups were later introduced and this came into being, so jamp on both

For me, if i’m going to do something, its good to immerse myself in it and the community helps as we get to see how things evolve going forward.

And its definitely got a positive feel, as everyones in the same boat, so critisism/suggestions good or bad is always welcome as it keeps the learning momentum going so no ones ever learning alone.

hehe, what a ramble…
Keep it up

I was searching for Unity 3D tutorials and found your course and all the positive reviews regarding it. I used my spending money for one of my checks to buy the course, and I haven’t regretted it for a second. I have always wanted to create games, and I’ve been working with an indie game dev. that creates mobile games with Buildbox. I hate how limited that software is, and my end goal is to make high quality VR games, so I started looking into Unity.

Your course has taught me more than any other resource I’ve used thus far, and I’m just now finishing up the brick breaker section!

There was this big Google Play Store sale and it had your course for like $10.

Went to reviews, 5 star all the way down.

Bought it. Don’t regret it.

I replied to a FaceBook Ad about a Unity course sale and thought it would be great for my son.
Then I thought: hey I’d like to see how things have changed, so I started too.
I have since signed-up for at least 10 more courses; I have about 1/2 dozen certificates now.

I think I actually also saw a Facebook ad one day for the course… It piqued my interest so I clicked, previewed the course content, and decided to give it a whirl (that was back when Udemy had their insane $10 sales). I sure am glad I happened upon that ad!

As for the forum, I heard about it through the Udemy announcements and Facebook page.

Found my way here from your courses on udemy.

I heard about your courses on another forum.

I bought your Unity development one because I wanted to learn scripting and making games in VR for hobby. I liked it that much after doing some lessons that i bought the blender one too .

Spotted your course on Udemy…

After buying some less than stellar Udemy game development courses in a bundle from a gaming website, I seen your Unity course and reluctantly bought it after not liking the courses from the other creators so I didn’t expect much.

I’m happy I didn’t judge you by their courses and actually bought it because you guys do a great job. I’ve since bought Blender and Unreal courses.

Didn’t actually know you had a Facebook page. I’m here because when I started Blender course it said you guys use this as a more reliable discussion area.

Thanks for the continued education Ben, Mike and co.
