While trying to follow lecture 26. It seemed like nothing was happening. I selecting the upraise tool (leftmost in the panel, and I would left click but nothing was happening. I was frustrated for a while and then I started to play with everything. The opacity, needs to be set to higher than 1 for some reason, once I set that, things started to work as per the video. I hope that this helps someone out there.
