Want to be a Community Captioner?

Hey Unreal folks,

We going to be trialling a new community captioning system. The idea is that we get captions out to all our lovely students much quicker and with the help of you, our awesome community!

You lucky Unreal students are the first course we’re going to trial the system on. Taking part in the trial will involve:

  1. Watching the Unreal videos (which hopefully you do already).
  2. Writing a transcript into YouTube. (YouTube’s AI can magically align the transcript to the video)
  3. Checking other student’s captions for errors.

The only requirements are:

  • You are at or near “Introducing AI Perception” (this will be the first video that needs captions).
  • You have time to dedicate to watching/captioning in the coming weeks.
  • You can understand and write good English.
  • You are a student on the Unreal course already.

So far as I can tell there is no “Introducing AI Perception” , do you mean “Introducing AI Pathfinding”?

There should be. It’s currently lecture 217.
