Upload Error

Hello, I have successfully built my text adventure game and zipped it using 7zip as suggested in a Q&A somewhere, and then I tried to upload to gambucket.io and it didn’t work, so I came here to look for answers. After reading another post I tried sharemygames.com, which also didn’t work, it’s giving me an error (on share my games) saying “The file you provided doesn’t have an index.html file. Please ensure you are using a WebGL build.” Which I am using a WebGL build, I reinstalled Unity 2017.3.1 (the newest/Feb 5th one) in order to enable WebGL support, and it also launched in my browser. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hello Chance,

Did you resolve this problem in the end, or is it still causing you difficulties?

Hello Rob,

Yes sorry, I made a Q&A post on one of the videos about uploading abd figured out the problem, I had forgotten about this post though as I did it later in the course. Am I supposed to do something to signify that the problem is resolved?

Hi,

That’s ok, no problem.

When you get a solution to a question you can mark a post as solved using the “tick” icon, this appears when you click on the “…”, next to “Reply”.

Solved

If of course you have answered your own question, or got help elsewhere, it can be beneficial to post again and mark that as the answer, that way, if anyone else experiences the same problem, they can see how to solve it.

Glad you were able to get an answer and move forwards

Ok, thank you, I will fix that a little later on computer
