I know this may be a dumb question but I started the course today and the latest Unity download is 4.7.2. Is it fine for me to download that?

Personally, I would prefer to stick to the versions used in the course, but i’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to look up the features in the newest versions as well. I doubt that Unity would ever cut features like the console and whatnot.

@Idrees_Khan I think it would depend on your preference. I started in Unity 4.7 and then just for the heck of it went to Unity 5. I had to edit some of my code due to that. I saw it as both a hinderance, and a benefit. I had to research the errors and figure out how to edit the code properly. I took this as a big learning experience and ended up enjoying the challenge of it even though I had to spend some extra time away from the course videos.
