I cannot create a C++ project in the UE4 project creation wizard. I have reported this bug. I see I am not alone, others are reporting the same problem. This bug is in 4.15 and 4.16.
The UE4 BP Project Creation Wizard appears to work as it should. Will that work as an alternate? Or not?
You have to have Visual Studio open and running before you attempt to create any C++ project. Also, check that you are updated. I had a launcher update this morning when I opened it.

Hey , I just run with the same problem , and I fix it running this app - total uninstaller from microsoft , it seems that some older vstudios garbage were in my system and that came with problems . Hope this helps you. Total Vstudio uninstall .
