Udemy have released a new sorting/grouping piece of functionality called “Collections”.
It allows you to name a group and then add specific courses to that group. Your courses can then be displayed in the groupings which you have created under the Collections view.
If you want to control the order in which they are displayed within the group, add them in reverse order, e.g. the courses you wish to have displayed first / at the top of the collection, add those last. There is currently no additional filtering / sorting on the Collections view.
-
From the All Courses view, click on the vertical ellipses/skinny burger icon (top right of the specific course), then choose Create Collection

-
Give the Collection a name and a description if you wish

-
The selected course will be added to the new collection (but is still displayed on the All Courses page)
-
Click on the same icon again and you can select/deselect the Collection to add/remove the course to/from

-
Clicking on the Collections tab will display your courses in those collections, grouped vertically in the page.
-
You can also add courses to multiple Collections

Note: There are a couple of bugs with it (reported)
- you can create a duplicate collection with the same name
- removing a collection removes all collections with the same name (all of your courses are still available under All Courses)
- you can remove all of the courses from a Collection but then cannot remove the Collection, you need at least one course within a Collection to both edit and remove the collection.
