I’m not sure why the video is so pixelated. I used 512 samples per frame and 100% 1920*1080 resolution. I don’t really understand codecs yet, so I may have used a wrong one.

I Love your story. Sad ending maybe 
Depending on key frames, codecs, compression, etc.
Try to use modern codecs, like H.264, designed for the web.
Try to fix it, because I (we) love the animation!!! It’s bad to have a nice render, corrupted by a stupid codec.
