A way round here may be the beveling of edges above as well
And then remove unnecessary faces.

Just curious, is there a reason you made it this way? Like, did you need it to have more vertices at the top?

@Tyger2, These triangles looking down will be then deleted and upper part left is scaled by 0 If I got your question right.
Sorry I donβt really know the context from the lecture. It just seemed an odd bit of geometry. I withdraw the question.
