Theme: You are Chuck, a slacker fairy who’s never really learned how to fly. You were content to live a lazy life in the enchanted forest until one terrible day when your entire tribe of fairies is trapped by an evil wizard intent on harvesting the trees for their magic. Now it’s up to you to find and rescue them . . . hopefully without crashing and burning along the way.
- Name: Innerspace
Theme: Like the movie! You’re piloting a highly advanced nanocapsule full of an experimental drug through the body of a desperately ill patient. You must reach the target and deliver your medicine without touching any pathogens or diseased tissue.
- Life Rafter
Theme: You’ve been lost at sea on an inflatable life raft for days when, at long last, you drift up to a remote volcanic island. There’s no beach, and every bit of shore is bristling with sharp rocks that will tear your raft to shreds. But there IS a narrow inlet, and with no food or water left, you have no choice but to navigate to the island’s interior in search of sustenance and a place to rest. Your survival depends on it.
(I’m thinking this one would involve shifting currents that you have to work with/against, rather than gravity as in the rocket ship version . . . if I can figure out how to do that.)
