I understand loop cut is CTRL+R but whats the other way to do this. I didnt really understand what i was supposed to do and felt like way to many shortcuts were used to explain how to it. I would like to see more of the videos where it was explained with both the hotkeys and normal ways. Only after i watched the rest of the video after the challenge was i able to complete the challenge.
Loop cut is an edge function, so you would find it under [Meshes -->Edges–>Loop Cut.
The hard way to do it would be to select each of the edges you want the cut to bisect and selecting Subdivide and then moving eachvert to where you want it
