I feel like I’ve been staring at this forever. There’s always one little detail that needs to be changed and then it’s a never ending line of changing details.
I’m moving on now from lesson 227. Thought I’d share how it looks so far.
I don’t even like to draw people. The human form just isn’t a subject I’m interested in, but I endured and finally made it to the end of section 8. Here’s what it looks like:

That kind of makes it all worth while. I also got comfortable with texture painting, so that’s an added bonus.
Just some final thoughts on how the section is laid out. The single lessons I’d have much rather done before starting the head, that way I could have applied them as I built the model instead of trying to figure out how to apply them after building the model. Sometimes there were so many in between the head ones that I forgot what I was doing with the head. Also, I just wanted to note that you expected us to paint the eye model and then showed us how to do that in a lesson after it. I had thought I’d missed something and then when I got to the next lesson it all made sense.
All in all it was an interesting experience.
