Here’s my first level prototype. I wanted to evoke the atmosphere of my theme, even though we’re just in early design. So I used the 3d aspect to put some “obstacles” you can never hit behind the player, and some streetlights as a callback to part 1 of the course :D.
I also had to attach some point lights to the ruined building, so the dark area was a bit more navigable. Screenshot from flying through the previously pitch black ruins - in a final version I’d prefer this lit by flickering flames.
