Sure! Here’s what i did:

Step 1: Slap together a bunch of ellipsoid meat balls
Step 2: Randomly change their size and position and try to make it look like a caterpillar
Step 3: Looks more like a maggot but ok
Step 4: Add caterpillar “details” anyway
Step 5: Add a negative meatball to create the gap on the back

Yes! I used two hair particle systems (one for the cones and one for the smaller hairs).

Butterfly/moth is a really great idea, I’ll keep that in mind for the next lessons!
