Hello everyone,
This is an incomplete version of the Text101 project. I wanted to go with a cyberpunk theme. It was a fun exercise to try and flex my writing muscles, and it made me realize how difficult it actually is to write a gripping story, with great, compelling characters.
I think I had the most fun trying to design a consistent and attractive UI for the game. The background image was pulled off of google, but the kind of “Sci-Fi” border in the text field was made by me using my iPad and procreate. That process was really enlightening, as I learned how easy and streamlined it could be to export hand drawn graphics from my iPad right onto my laptop using the airdrop feature. I look forward to utilizing this more in the future when I work on other projects with hand drawn graphics… It’s currently not very long, but give it a try yourself.
