TEXT 101 - NEED HELP - Building and Posting WEBGL - Nothing is being generated

To whom it may concern… mostly me,

I completed the Text101 lecture and my game is built and works when I run it in Unity. However, when I go to build the game to upload, the new folder is created but there is nothing in it. I’ve tried throwing it into a few different places and I get the same result of nothing being in the file. Is this something to do with the scenes? Hi Peter,

Here are a few suggestions:

  1. Save your build on your harddrive but not inside your project folder, on your Desktop or in a cloud.

  3. Make sure that neither your firewall nor your antivirus program block Unity.

Did any of these help?

It’s not obvious but the Desktop is a special folder managed by Windows. It might be that there are a few restrictions.
