Staging, Sketchfab & Light Rig?

I would link the sketchfab file, but the lighting rig didn’t upload.

I’m looking into how to bake the spot-light targeting into key frames. How does one bake a light rig that tracks to target?

Constraint the light spot to track the ball object maybe?

Yep think this works pretty well:

Did that rig successfully upload to sketchfab.com? The problem I’m having, is that sketchfab.com doesn’t seem to recognize Blender’s track to constraint.

In Blender it works just fine (see above video); in SkectchFab well just take a look:
Animation Principles - Pose 2 Pose, Extremes, Timing & Staging

The animation looks just fine but the spotlights (which I don’t think viewers can even see) are just pointed straight up. Sketchfab doesn’t seem to care about the bone constraints at all.

I decided to angle the existing spotlights to where they are at least pointing down on the scene.

Ah, I never uploaded an animation to sketchfab, but what I know is that I have to rework the lighting when uploading there since it uses it’s own light objects.
In that sense I don’t know if it’s possíble to animate the light objects there.

Took some doing but I found an answer for baking animations from constraints, right here:
A Simple Tutorial, Baking Animation Tool

The unfortunate part is that baking neither the armature’s nor the spotlight’s animations actually made it.

It’s possible the I’m doing something wrong in the upload, but until someone demonstrates otherwise, it seems to me that lighting in SketchFab is static only.
