Yes, later on the course, three point lighting will explained.
And also subsurface lighting (light through objects).
I use a lot sunlight, it’s bright. Nice shadows. And simple to use.
But yo can just increase the light intensity and or the size of lamp object.
The size will have influence on the shadows (harsh or soft).
There is a big difference in how Eevee of Cycles will handle the shadows and light intensity.
But you will learn that also.
Great, looking forward to that. I think once I advance far enough, I’ll remake my old scenes with new techniques and bigger experience and make a post with comparisons to see how much I’ll improve. I guess it might be interesting for you as a teacher as well.
