[SOLVED] Update isn't being called in EnemySpawner script?

I was following the coding in the lecture and my enemy formation didn’t move. First intuition was that something was wrong with my bool because I made a leap and wrote an else statement for the formation moving left. Subtracted code and it seemed like the bool wasn’t being set. I wrote some print statements in update and now it seems that update isn’t being called, but only for this one script as my PlayerController script is working fine and I have full control of the player sprite. Below are screenshots of my EnemySpawner script and the (missing) print statements in the console. My Unity version is 5.5.0f3 Personal 64-bit. I’d greatly appreciate any input on this.
