SimpleShooterGame - Lec 184 - FHitResult not working

Hi all,

Up to Section 184 for the Simple Shooter Game on the Unreal Engine 3D Course.

The “bIsHit” bool is coming out as false every time I fire and the “No hit” is being printed to the log.

I’m wondering why my “FHitResult HitResult” isn’t being recognised by VS Intellisense and I’m suspecting thats the reason the whole thing is coming out as false:

IntelliSense is not the one compiling your code so as such is not effecting anything with regards to that.

What is your MaxRange? How have you set up your custom collision channel?
