I would say Suzanne is as much of a primitive to the Blender community, as the Teapot is to so many others whom got involved in 3D CG in general.
Sad the Teapot is not a common primitive to all 3D applications. It’s such a classic.
The Teapot can be found in Blender 2.8, if you turn on Add Mesh: Extra Objects in Add-ons, then look in Add Mesh then go down to Extras. You will see something called Teapot +
Perhaps you can create some extra wizardry by having your magic monkey pouring some tea from the Teapot prim. Then you would be using both iconic prims together. ^.^
